November 14, 2025 – Community Extension Service โ€“ Brgy. Labangon
As part of the Library and Information Services Month (LISM) 2025 celebration, the CNU Learning Resource Center, together with the BLIS and MLIS Departments, conducted a courtesy visit at Brgy. Labangon Hall to present plans for a proposed Barangay Reading Center. The team also carried out a needs assessment survey to understand the communityโ€™s literacy priorities.

Thank you to Hon. Frangil Labra Dagatan, Barangay Councilor, and her staff for the warm welcome and productive discussion. The visit served as an initial step in exploring collaboration opportunities and supporting community literacy initiatives.

November 23โ€“26, 2025 – CNU Librarians Join the PLAI National Congress 2025 and General Assembly
CNU LRC Librarians headed by the OIC-Supervisor, of the Library Services, Ms. Francheska Vonne S. Gali, goes to PLAI National Congress and General Assembly 2025. The theme for this yearโ€™s Congress is: “PLAI BRIDGES: Borderless. Researchโ€‘based. Innovative. Developmental. Global. Equitable. Sustainable,” held at the SMX Convention Center, Bacolod City.

The following librarians also attended the Congress:

4. Mr. Mark Francis G. Onde, Graduate School Librarian/Electronic Services Librarian

November 27, 2025 –ย Library Innovative Benchmarking
A benchmarking activity designed to explore best practices and emerging trends in library services, ensuring continuous enhancement of the LRCโ€™s offerings.

November 28โ€“29 – CNU LRC Conducr Library Caravan at CNU Alegria Campus and Attends CNU Night

๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—˜๐—š๐—ฅ๐—œ๐—”, ๐—–๐—˜๐—•๐—จ โ€” In line with the 35th Library and Information Services Month, the CNU Learning Resource Center (LRC) visited the CNU Alegria Campus on November 28โ€“29, 2025, to assist the campus library in preparing for CHED Government Permit/COPC compliance. The LRC team assisted in organizing library holdings, processing newly acquired books, and providing orientation on digital resources to strengthen the Bachelor of Special Needs Education and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education programs. The visit also included a meeting with library staff to review CHED evaluation results and plan improvements, ensuring compliance and enhancing student learning support.
On November 29, 2025, the CNU librarians and staff attended the CNU Night at the Alegria Municipal Town Plaza, featuring performances by the CNU Kudyapi Dance Troupe and CNU Chorale, celebrating culture and community in line with this yearโ€™s LISM theme. CNU LRC extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Gilberto Magallon and Vice Mayor Verna Magallon for graciously welcoming the team, facilitating their participation in CNU Night, and presenting tokens of appreciation.
