November 14, 2025 – Community Extension Service β Brgy. Labangon
As part of the Library and Information Services Month (LISM) 2025 celebration, the CNU Learning Resource Center, together with the BLIS and MLIS Departments, conducted a courtesy visit at Brgy. Labangon Hall to present plans for a proposed Barangay Reading Center. The team also carried out a needs assessment survey to understand the communityβs literacy priorities.
Thank you to Hon. Frangil Labra Dagatan, Barangay Councilor, and her staff for the warm welcome and productive discussion. The visit served as an initial step in exploring collaboration opportunities and supporting community literacy initiatives.


November 23β26, 2025 – CNU Librarians Join the PLAI National Congress 2025 and General Assembly
CNU LRC Librarians headed by the OIC-Supervisor, of the Library Services, Ms. Francheska Vonne S. Gali, goes to PLAI National Congress and General Assembly 2025. The theme for this yearβs Congress is: “PLAI BRIDGES: Borderless. Researchβbased. Innovative. Developmental. Global. Equitable. Sustainable,” held at the SMX Convention Center, Bacolod City.
